Ardenwood Farm

I don't like manual labor, but I LOVE farms.. I guess I just like the idea of being self sufficient, I'm just not devoted enough to put the work into doing it! So the house that Alma rents is right behind historic Adrenwood farm, when you walk into the front yard the farm is literally (yes literally) right across the street. Last week I took some of the kids there with some ladies for my new ward (Yes I miss my old ward.. sniff sniff).
Aside from being COLD (Hello! I thought I was in CA??) we had a dern good time at the ferm.. I mean farm.
The gazebo where we had lunchAlex and his random sticks.. I'm tired of always finding sticks in my car! Here chicky, chicky, chicky, I have not given up on my dream to one day own my own chicken.. I should have had one of the kids grab one of these and pass it to me through the fence, where I would have stashed it in the backyard... Why did the chicken cross the road?To get away from the mob of children chasing him! Ohhhh my favorite! The peacocks, they're so prettyI kept telling the peacock to open his feathers so we could see them, and after much persistence he finally did! The lesson to be learned here; Always yell at animals until they do what you want. Look at those cute kids
This horse needs his hair cut.. How can he even see? LOVE this picture of Alex... He is the cutest... I'm not just saying that! How could anyone ever disagree =)
